Why is my KAMBUKKA bottle leaking?
All Kambukka bottles are 100% leak-proof. Yay!
But if liquid is still escaping from your bottle, it might be due to one of these reasons:
your Snapclean® is not properly clicked into the lid. Prevent leaks by pushing the Snapclean® mechanism into the lid with two fingers until you hear a click.
your spout lid is not fully closed. Make sure you hear a click when shutting the spout cover. Otherwise, water can leak through the spout opening. But no worries: the water cannot escape through the air vent in the lid itself!
your Rio lid is not fully closed. Screw the Rio lid straight onto the bottle body and make sure the flaps are completely shut.
Can I use my KAMBUKKA bottle for carbonated drinks?
Our bottles are not suitable for carbonated drinks.
Can I put my personalized bottle in the dishwasher?
No, personalized bottles should be hand-washed only.

What materials are KAMBUKKA bottles made of?
Our plastic bottles are made of high-quality Tritan™ material from Eastman.
Tritan™ products are durable, highly impact-resistant, and completely safe. They won’t stain or retain odors. On top of that, Tritan™ is free from bisphenol A (BPA), bisphenol S (BPS), and other harmful bisphenols.
Do KAMBUKKA bottles contain BPA or other harmful substances?
No worries our entire range is 100% free from bisphenol A (BPA) and contains no other harmful toxins.
At KAMBUKKA, we go the extra mile to ensure our products are safe and non-toxic. On top of that, we work closely with international experts who carry out testing procedures in line with the latest regulations.
Where do KAMBUKKA products come from?
Kambukka takes great pride in its high-quality products and the care we show for all our employees.
All our bottles are designed in Belgium and meet the highest quality standards. Production takes place in China, in factories that fully comply with the latest regulations on social conditions, health, and safety. We know this for certain, because we regularly carry out our own inspections.

General Use
What should I do before using my bottle for the first time?
We know you can’t wait to start using your KAMBUKKA bottle, but make sure to wash all parts with warm soapy water before drinking from it for the first time.
Can I use my KAMBUKKA bottle for drinks other than water?
Yes!
If you’ve bought a plastic (Tritan™) bottle, you can also use it for drinks other than water – for example fruit juice or (non-carbonated) lemonade.
Can I use my KAMBUKKA bottle for carbonated drinks?
No, our bottles are not suitable for carbonated drinks.
Can I use KAMBUKKA stainless steel bottles for hot drinks?
Of course!
Our stainless steel bottles Etna and Olympus are designed so you can enjoy your coffee or tea on the go.
If you want to fill your KAMBUKKA with boiling liquid, let it cool down for at least 3 minutes before closing the lid. If the liquid is too hot, pressure inside the bottle can build up. This may cause the liquid to spray out and lead to burns.
Always press the button with the bottle upright and away from your face to release the pressure before drinking.
Can I put my KAMBUKKA bottle in the fridge, freezer, microwave, or sterilizer?
No!
You should not put your bottle in the microwave, fridge, freezer, or sterilizer, as this can damage your beloved KAMBUKKA.
Why is my KAMBUKKA bottle leaking?

Why doesn’t the color design look as nice?
For some designs, application foil is used.
This may be slightly visible where the foil overlaps or curves.
Kambukka On the Go
Can I put my KAMBUKKA bottle in my car’s cup holder?
We completely understand that you want to enjoy your drink in the car.
That’s why we’ve made sure our bottles fit into the cup holders of most European cars.
Want to be 100% sure? Check the exact diameter of your specific bottle in the product description.
Can I take my (empty) KAMBUKKA bottle through airport security?
Yes!
You can always take your empty KAMBUKKA bottle through security and refill it once you’re in the secured area. Stay hydrated, even while traveling!
Can I take my KAMBUKKA bottle on the plane?
Yes!
But always make sure your bottle is empty before boarding the plane. Due to pressure differences in the cabin, water may spray out through the lid.
Personalized Bottles
How can I personalize my bottle?

The print area is located directly opposite the side with the Kambukka logo on the bottle body.
Please note: tolerances apply – the final print may slightly differ from the configurator preview in terms of color and position.
We recommend using the configurator in the Chrome browser on a laptop or PC. On older mobile devices, the configurator may show incorrect results or even freeze.
TIP: Personalization looks best on a solid background color (without a design).
What is the delivery time for my personalized bottle?
We always do our best to deliver as quickly as possible, but please note that it may take up to 7 working days for your package to arrive. But hey, that just gives you something to look forward to!
Can I put my personalized bottle in the dishwasher?
No. Personalized bottles must be washed by hand.
I’ve received my super cool Kambukka bottle, but I’m not completely satisfied. What should I do?

I really love the personalization at Kambukka and would like to personalize several bottles. Is that possible?
Yes, of course!
At Kambukka, it’s all about convenience – so we’re happy to make it easy for you to personalize multiple bottles.
What do the red fields mean during personalization?
We’re happy to guide you through the personalization process.
For some bottles, there are restrictions on where personalization can be applied. If you place your design within the red fields, that area will be printed for you.
Why can’t I personalize all bottles?
If you know Kambukka, you know we love to innovate and follow the latest trends.
That’s why some colors may go out of stock from time to time – and those bottles won’t always be available for personalization.
Can I also personalize large quantities?
Yes!
For larger orders, we’d be happy to refer you to our co-brand page so you can go all the way. You’re always welcome to contact us directly for bulk personalization requests.

How do I clean my KAMBUKKA bottle?

What is Snapclean®?
Want to make sure not a single drop of tea, coffee, or sports drink stays behind in your bottle?
No problem! With our patented Snapclean® system, you simply pinch the mechanism and pull it out in one piece for easy cleaning.
How do I remove the Snapclean® mechanism?
Simply pinch the Snapclean® mechanism to remove it.
This allows you to clean your bottle easily (no worries, it’s dishwasher safe). After cleaning, place the mechanism back into the lid and press the protruding parts until you hear a click. It’s as simple as that!
Can I put my KAMBUKKA bottle in the dishwasher?
All lids and plastic bottles are dishwasher safe (domestic dishwasher only – not industrial).
After washing, make sure the lids are well drained and allow them to dry separately.
For stainless steel mugs and bottles that are painted or printed, we recommend hand washing. Dishwasher detergents may damage your KAMBUKKA and its properties.
Over time, you may notice a coffee or tea residue inside the bottle. This is completely normal – and you can easily clean it with our Cleaning Tabs!
Kambukka Lids
Are KAMBUKKA lids interchangeable?
Yes! All Kambukka lids are interchangeable.
For the best experience, however, we recommend keeping the lid with its original bottle or mug.
Please note: the 1L Lagoon and the 1L Elton Insulated are exceptions and do not fit with other lids.
How can I remove the Snapclean® mechanism from the Elton lid?
To remove the Snapclean® mechanism from the Elton lid, make sure the lid is in the ‘Sip’ or ‘Lock’ position.
In the ‘Open’ position, the mechanism cannot be removed. It’s as simple as that!
Why is water leaking from the lid?
Our 3 in 1 lid with Snapclean® technology is super handy, but it does need to be used correctly.
Always read the user and care instructions carefully before using your bottle.
If water is leaking from the lid, please keep in mind: When the 3 in 1 lid comes out of the dishwasher, some water may still be trapped inside. Make sure the lid has dried completely before use.
Do not fill your bottle all the way to the top. Always stop at the neck of the bottle. Otherwise, water may leak through the lid.
Does the tea filter fit on every lid?
No, unfortunately not.
The tea filter only fits the Etna travel mug. When you purchase a tea filter, you’ll also receive an extra Snapclean® mechanism – two birds with one stone!
Can I buy separate parts?
Small parts such as push buttons, closing flaps, rubber rings, and silicone spouts are not replaceable or available separately.
The body (bottle without lid) is also not sold separately.
Shipping & Delivery
To which countries does KAMBUKKA ship?
We only deliver within Europe (excluding islands).
Incorrect addresses are the responsibility of the customer and may lead to additional charges.
Unless otherwise stated, our prices do not include transport or delivery. Shipping costs are always listed separately.
How much are the shipping costs?
Shipping is free when you order above a certain amount.
For Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Austria and Denmark shipping is free from €44.95. For the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Sweden and Finland shipping is free from €70. For Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Latvia shipping is free from €80.
Standard shipping costs (for orders below these amounts) vary by country.
In Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Austria and Denmark the cost is €4.95. In the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Sweden and Finland the cost is €9.95. In Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Latvia the cost is €14.95.
How long does it take for my order to be delivered?
If you place your order before 1:00 PM, delivery usually takes between 1 and 4 working days depending on the country.
Orders to the Netherlands are typically delivered in 1 working day. For Belgium and Luxembourg it takes about 2 working days, for Germany 2 working days, for Ireland 3 working days, for Italy 4 working days and for Spain 5 working days. Deliveries to France may take 6 to 7 working days, while shipments to other European countries generally arrive within 3 to 5 working days.
During the end-of-year period delivery times may be longer. Once your package leaves our warehouse, you will receive an email from our webshop system. You will also receive an email from the carrier confirming that your goods have been collected and are being prepared for delivery. With this email you can postpone the delivery or choose an alternative delivery address.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has been shipped, we’ll email you a shipping confirmation with your tracking number. Click the link in that email to follow the status of your Kambukka package. Please note that tracking information only updates after the carrier has received your parcel at their distribution center.
Payment
Can I cancel or edit my order?
Once your order has been placed, we unfortunately cannot cancel it, as all orders are processed immediately to ensure fast delivery.
If you no longer wish to receive your Kambukka, you can simply refuse the delivery when the courier arrives.
I haven’t received my order confirmation yet
An order confirmation is sent within a few minutes of placing your order, provided that you entered the correct email address. Please check your spam or junk folder, as the confirmation email may sometimes end up there. If you still haven’t received an order confirmation, please fill in our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
What payment methods does KAMBUKKA accept?
We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Bancontact / Mister Cash, Sofort Überweisung, ING Homepay, CBC Online, Belfius Direct Net, Giropay, iDEAL and KBC Online.
My discount code isn’t working
Discount codes cannot be combined. Please check if you already purchased a promotional item or if another discount has been applied. Also note that once a promotion has ended, it can no longer be redeemed or applied afterwards.
Warranty
What is the warranty on KAMBUKKA products?
KAMBUKKA offers a two-year warranty on all bottles purchased from kambukka.com and authorized retailers, provided you have proof of purchase.
Please note that this warranty only covers manufacturing defects. Worn parts, dents, scratches, chipped paint, or any misuse of the product or care instructions (washing, etc.) are considered normal wear and tear and are not covered. Intentional damage or misuse may void the warranty.
If you would like to file a claim, please contact us at customerservice@bibobrands.com with your proof of purchase, the reason for your claim, and photos of your bottle. Make sure to include a full photo of the front, the bottom, and the claimed damage or defect, if applicable.
Returns
What are the general conditions for returns?
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery.
To be eligible, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
Personalized products – such as items with a name, text, or logo – are made especially for you. Unfortunately, these cannot be returned or exchanged, in line with the legal exceptions to the right of withdrawal.
Exception: If something went wrong during production or delivery (for example, a mistake in the personalization, damage, or the wrong item), please contact us. We will always work with you to find a suitable solution.
